Cutis lift Radiofrequency and medical micro-needling – Awaken Clinic
As we age, our skin can start to succumb to lines, wrinkles, sagging, and loss of hydration and elasticity. At Awaken Clinic in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, we offer effective non-ablative skin revitalisation with the Cutis Lift. This revolutionary non-surgical device-led treatment combines two powerful skin rejuvenation technologies: radiofrequency and medical micro-needling.
Radiofrequency has long been used to tighten and tone the underlying layers of the skin by gently heating these layers. This action stimulates new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid within the skin tissues. Medical micro-needling utilises superfine gold-tipped needles to target the treatment deep within the dermis, supercharging the Cutis Lift treatment. Skin cells are rejuvenated, and the skin is brighter and more youthful in appearance.
Many skin concerns can be effectively treated with Cutis Lift, including fine lines and wrinkles, skin sagging and the development of jowls, turkey neck and platysma bands, reduced skin elasticity, hyperpigmentation and sun damage, active acne and acne scars, as well as stretch marks. At Awaken Clinic, we complete your Cutis Lift treatment with Target Cool—a state-of-the-art cooling device that uses needle-free CO₂ propulsion to deliver skin vitamins and cocktails into the superficial layers. This enhances the absorption of liquid skincare, helping to optimise your results.

FAQs
As Cutis Lift is a non-invasive treatment, it is suitable for most medically fit and healthy patients experiencing signs of ageing. However, certain contraindications can prevent or restrict this treatment. Therefore, before we can agree to carry out a Cutis Lift treatment session, we will ask that you attend a no-obligation consultation, skin analysis, and medical history questionnaire to ensure that the treatment will produce successful results and be safe for you to undergo.
Before a Cutis Lift treatment is carried out, we will apply a topical anaesthetic to the areas that are to be treated, so you should feel comfortable throughout. Some patients report a warm sensation or one similar to an elastic band being flicked onto the skin. However, this should be completely tolerable.
There is no clinical downtime following treatment with Cutis Lift, i.e., time spent at home recovering. However, some oedema (skin reddening), slight swelling, or pinprick bleeding can occur afterwards. These side effects are normal and will subside in a day or so. We will offer you aftercare advice so you can take care of your skin effectively following your treatment.
Many patients notice significant results in the weeks that follow a single treatment. However, we usually recommend a course of between three and six treatments, spaced two to four weeks apart, for optimum results.
In general, you can see results last up to twelve months before a maintenance session is needed. However, the longevity of your results can depend on several factors, from your age and general skin quality to certain lifestyle choices and environmental stressors.

“Dr Stephanie removed 2 skin tags one on my back that was done in a couple of session but a more testing one on my head which took months and throughout the whole process she was brilliant and very personable! I couldn't recommend her more!”
